Top 10 Plays from Starfire Season 1 Tournaments

Season 1 produced unforgettable competitive moments across BGMI, MLBB, Free Fire, and Chess. Here are the 10 plays that defined our first season.

Starfire's inaugural competitive season produced moments that reminded everyone why competitive gaming exists — not just to win, but to create unforgettable performances under pressure. Here are our ten best plays from Season 1.

#10 — The 3-Man Wipe (BGMI)

ZeroX_Squad were pinched between two full squads in zone 4. Down one player, facing 7 enemies across two positions. Instead of retreating, they smoke-rotated and took the fight from both sides simultaneously, eliminating 6 of 7 opponents before securing second place. The coordination on voice chat during this sequence is what makes it #10.

#9 — The Clutch S&D Defuse (COD Mobile)

With 4 seconds on the bomb timer and 4 enemies still alive, Phantom_Defuser solo-planted his entire team by clearing bomb site B with two knife kills (for silence) and a precision defuse while the opponent team was rotating. The knife usage to preserve audio stealth was the detail that made this play elite.

#8 — Fastest Checkmate at Starfire (Chess)

In the Blitz bracket's second round, user "QueenGambit_KHI" delivered a 12-move checkmate (Scholar's Mate variation) against a 1650+ rated opponent. Clean, fast, and demoralizing for the opponent who played correctly up to move 9.

#7 — The Lord Steal (MLBB)

TeamDragon were losing 3–8 in kills when they executed a Diggie + Selena arrow into the enemy Lord pit with 5% Lord HP remaining. Two enemies fell in the pit, one escaped, and TeamDragon secured Lord and used it to destroy two turrets and close to 5–8. They won the series.

#6 — 1v4 Clutch (Free Fire)

hs_Solo was the last man alive in his squad with 22 HP, no armor, and facing 4 opponents in a building hold. He used Chrono active ability, baited an entry, and picked off opponents one at a time using doorway audio cues. The final kill came at 8 HP — no heal available. The squad had silently disconnected, making this a genuine 1v4 solo survival.
