Starfire's tournament system is designed for transparency, fairness, and genuine competitive recognition. Unlike informal Discord tournament threads or pay-to-play platforms, Starfire provides structured governance around every competition. Here's how it works end to end.
Step 1: Browse Open Competitions
Visit the Competitions page after logging in to see all active, upcoming, and recently completed tournaments. Filter by game, region, entry level, or format. Each competition page shows: game, format (solo/duo/squad), schedule, prize or recognition details, registration deadline, and specific rules.
Step 2: Register Your Roster
For team-based competitions, one player registers the team and invites teammates through username search. All teammates must confirm participation. Roster locks apply 48 hours before scheduled start — no changes after this point. Solo registrations are straightforward: register yourself, confirm your in-game username matching.
Step 3: Match Day Procedures
Starfire distributes match access (custom room codes, friend challenge links, or match IDs) through the platform dashboard. Arrive with your group and device prepared 15 minutes before scheduled start. No-shows after a 10-minute grace period result in forfeit. For each match: play according to posted rules, then submit your result (screenshot) in the match result form on your competition page.
Step 4: Scoring and Standings
Scoring updates live on the competition leaderboard page after each submission is verified. Placement-based competitions update standings after each match in a series. Challenge outcomes update immediately after both players confirm. Disputes can be filed within the posted dispute window — evidence (recordings, screenshots) is reviewed by Starfire administration.
Step 5: Recognition and Badges
Winners and high-placing participants receive Starfire badge recognition on their profiles. Championship placements are permanently recorded in your competitive history. Select tournaments grant Starfire rank points that contribute to your season standing and determine seeding in invitation-only premier events.
