MLBB Season 34 Meta Breakdown: Strongest Heroes and Compositions

MLBB Season 34 reshaped the meta with significant tank and marksman changes. Here's what's strong, what's weak, and how to win in competitive drafts this season.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Season 34 landed with substantial patches to tank durability, marksman attack speed scaling, and several significant hero reworks. The meta has shifted away from the Season 33 assassin-dominated environment toward a more balanced teamfight and objective control playstyle.

What Changed in Season 34

Tank durability was increased via shield stacking changes — tanks now have more reliable protection during initiations. This made dive compositions less punishing, enabling more front-to-back teamfight compositions. Marksman attack speed scaling was adjusted to make late-game carries more formidable — specifically Karrie, Granger, and Claude now reach their "power spike" items 2-3 minutes faster in the adjusted XP/gold system.

S-Tier Heroes This Season

**Fredrinn (Fighter/Tank)**: Remains the top flex pick after Season 33 adjustments didn't reduce his defensive output as much as intended. His counterpush and teamfight initiation make him a near-mandatory pick or ban.

**Pharsa (Mage)**: Pharsa's long-range poke and aerial advantage returned to prominence in the current frontline meta. With tanks absorbing more damage in close range, Pharsa's ability to safely deal damage from behind created a dominant midlane presence.

**Yin (Assassin/Fighter)**: The isolated kill threat remains one of the cleanest lane-bully tools in the game. In Season 34, Yin benefits from the extended fight durations — his isolation ultimate (pulling one target out of the fight) is even more decisive when fights last longer.

Compositions to Run This Season

**Frontline Teamfight**: Atlas/Fredrinn + Pharsa/Vale + Benedict + Granger/Karrie + Tigreal/Gatotkaca. Classic teamfight comp that wins organized fights with strong crowd control layering.

**Pick Composition**: Yin + Helcurt + Selena + Lancelot + Rafaela. Constant pick threat, Selena's arrow sets up every pick — loses to turtle/poke if skills are missed.

Bottom Tier: Heroes to Avoid

Martis, Masha, and several of the older Fighter designs are underperforming in Season 34 — their stat scaling didn't benefit from the patch's changes and their role overlap with better options makes them non-competitive at organized play level.
